Out of time
So this semester has been especially tough for me. I have gotten to the point were there is not enough time in the day to get everything done and unfortunately this means that my school work has suffered. I want to use this blog to apologize the our teacher Holly as I did not want to nor am I happy with not having enough time to fully complete all of the required assignments that we have been assigned during the course of this semester. I can only go forward from here hoping that next semester will be easier as I will be taking less hours and hopefully not be having to work two jobs to put food on the table for my kids. Once again I apologize and I am border line disgusted with my inability to fully complete all assignments during the course of this semester. I hope you understand and try to show leniency in my final grade. Thank you for all you have done for me and I am glad to have been one of your students.

1987 Harley Davidson Soft tail
So I decided to buy a Harley off of a friend of mine for a reasonable price. In my opinion this bike is pretty cool. I will give you a quick description of it. The bike is black with just about every nut, bolt, cover, gaurd, wheel, rack, line, and filter in chrome. The gentleman that had this bike before my friend had it, put a 21" all one piece billet front wheel on it along with 16" ape hanger handle bars and a set of pipes that are border line defining if you happen to be to close. This bike is 24 years old so it leaks a little oil which can be totally expected from an older Harley and there are a few nicks in the paint. It has just under 64,000 miles on it, so this bike hasn't been a garage piece, it has been ridin quite a bit. I just recently spent about 5 hours working on it. I had to change the oil and also change out a few gasket to slow some leaks and well it did just that. I took it out riding yesterday and put a couple hundred miles on it and let me tell you, with the weather being as nice as it was, that was something that I needed. I needed a nice ride to clear my mind from all the stresses of everyday life. I truely enjoy blanking out my mind and enjoying all the scenary that I get to see when out on the road on a bike.

Easter Weekend
So I had an absolutely exceptional weekend with my children. I got my girls on Friday after work and we just hung around the house, played some games, watched some TV and ate some snacks. Saturday morning we slept in then went to the mall to pick out some Easter dresses for them and let me tell you, I am not one that likes to go to the mall for any reason. However, this was a special occasion since they are both now old enough to have a say in their own personal styles. My six year old had her dress picked out within the first twenty minutes and within the first thirty minutes she had her shoes picked out. My twelve year old on the other hand had to go to at least five different stores for her dress, had to try on fifty different ones and the we had to break for lunch before we even started on the long search for her shoes. When we finally left the mall both of the girls were very happy with their purchases and I was worn out. When we got home we were pleasantly surprised by my parents and one of my nephews coming by, then within the next two hours both of my sisters and the rest of my nieces and nephews were at my house. Which I was very pleased with considering they all live about an hour away and we don't get to see them all that much anymore. About an hour later in the day we had another surprise, one of my friends that now lives in Dallas stopped by with her two girls. They were in town for Easter visiting her parents and sister and we were very happy that she came by to see us. So Saturday was a very busy and great day. My daughters and I then awoke this morning and the Easter bunny had came and the girls were very excited to see all the candy and the little gifts that the bunny left for them. We then started the long process of trying to get two little girls bathed, dressed, and all done up to go to church. When we finally made it to church I was pleasantly surprised once again by seeing another friend of mine that I hadn't seen for probably ten years. After church I took my daughters out to eat a good lunch and then we came back home and the girls spent the afternoon doing their nails and playing games. I am very pleased with the way our weekend turned out and feel very blessed to have my children, family, and friends in my life.

Freaking crazy people.
So during my tiny little lunch break that I got during my day today, I decided that I was going to read up on a little news that was happening in the world. I don't generally pay much attention to the news because there isn't ever anything positive on it and Obamas' face is always plastered everywhere and well it's no surprise, but I don't personally care for the guy. Anyway, so I was reading through some of the stuff on my AOL homepage and I came across one that says mother drives car into river killing herself and three of her children. I thought what the hell is wrong with people. So of course I read on when I should have just left it alone after reading the topic. It turns out some loon in New York got in some domestic dispute with someone and then evidently got so mad that she just said screw it, I am going to kill three of my kids and myself in one of the worst ways to die. That will teach'em lady!! I mean this is a sad story, the women killed three innocent children, ages 5 and under, but the even shittier side is that she let her ten year old out of the car before driving into the river. Good job mom leave your ten year all alone in life all f****ed up because you had some melt down over some lame ass domestic argument. The world is so screwed up. Look if any other jack wagons want to go off themselves that at least leave your kids the hell out of it.

What a great weekend
So my birthday is coming up on Tuesday April twelfth and so this weekend my children, my parents along with my sisters and their children all came to my house for a BBQ. The weather couldn't have been any more perfect for all of us to spend the day outside and to watch all of the kids run and play and for once to be able to be outside without having to wear more than shorts and flip flops. It was a great day, my mom fixed my favorite cake, my oldest sister bought me a new study bible and my other sister bought me some lottery tickets that I won $22 dollars on. My children got me a Harley Davidson wallet and my parents got me a new handy little vacuum. I feel very blessed to have my family around to celebrate not only mine, but all of the special occasions that come along in life. I could not have asked for a better weekend.

Sorry it's late
Let me just start with man I am tired. I have recently had to take on more work to provide for my family and had I known this would come I would not have signed up for twelve hours of Internet classes this semester. Now don't get me wrong, I am not whining I am only saying that I hope that I at least pass all of my glasses since I have already paid for them. However I do wish that my parent's would have kicked my ass and made me stay in college right out of high school. I am convinced that had I stayed in then it would have not seemed so hard. Well, at least finding the time to do the work is hard, if I had an extra four hours in my day I bet I could get things done on time. I only wish that somebody had told me that 24 hours in a day is not enough time to do everything that needs to be done with work, kids, school, sports, home maintenance, and laundry. I need a maid, one less job, 6 hours less of classes, and a beer!

Spring Break?
So this coming week is spring break and if I was ten or twelve years younger without kids I would be completely pumped. Well that's not the case, I have two children and now am working sixty plus hours a week to keep up with bills during this economic downturn. Don't get me wrong, I love my children, but sometimes at the end of the week after work, school functions, paying eighty dollars to put gas in my truck, then spending the only extra time that I can find on Sunday to sit in front of the computer and try to cram 12 hours of classes into a half a day gets a little old. However I am definitely looking forward to not having any homework to do this week so that maybe I can catch up on some house and yard work since it is now the season for that to. I would love a plane ticket to a beach even just for a day, just to get away from the madness that has become my life.
