Cruise ships nightmare ending
The Carnival cruise lines ship Splendor is on is last leg of a horrific cruise. The ship suffered and engine room fire and lost all power days ago 200 miles off the coast of Mexico. Food was brought in by the coast guard and tug boats came to tow it to San Diego. As of this morning the ship was within eight miles of San Diego.
I couldn't imagine being stuck on a powerless ship with 4,500 strangers 200 miles off the coast of Mexico without cold drinks. Wow. I know that Carnival is giving refunds and also offering a free cruise to all of the passengers on board, but I am not sure that after experiencing something like this that I would what to go again.
