Flight Attendant Arrested in Airline Bomb Hoax

Police in Hanoi arrested a Vietnam airlines flight attendant for allegedly sending a fake bomb threat through a text message to the head steward.  The flight was scheduled to fly to Cambodia and was cancelled forcing over one hundred people to be rescheduled to different flights.

This sounds like a major case of stupidity.  This person probably just thought, ha ha this will be funny, and in turn caused a lot of crap.  I wonder how much jail time this person will get for this prank.  Some people just need to learn the difference between funny and wrong.  I guess that maybe the courts will set an example with this case.

  1. I remember hearing about this awhile ago! If it's the same situation as I'm thinking of, my mom told me that the reason he did it is because a passenger was discriminating against him because he is gay. Apparently it happened all the time, so he wanted to make a good fairwell and "screw you" kind of exit. From what my family has told me, after he sent the text, he pulled the emergency slide bar and slid down it flipping everybody off. Hahaha, I'm not sure if that's the same situation, but if it is then I really don't blame him. Nobody deserves to be treated differently just because of their sexuality. If that's not the same situation, I hope the person does get in trouble for it because if I were a passenger, I'd be so angry.
