Electronic Cigarettes

No age limited for buying E-Cigs

The new rage going on in the world over electronic cigarettes is under fire.  Evidently the FDA has not done many studies on this very popular tobacco free battery operated cigarette.  Canada has already banned the importation of E-Cigs.  Electronic cigarettes are made by five different manufacturers and three of the manufacturers are owned by the same people.  They are marketing this product to kids and adults the same way.  There is no age limited to purchase this item.  With all of the complaints and concerns over this product the FDA has decided to investigate E-Cigs and to place an age limit on the purchase of this product.

What??

I have seen people smoking these things everywhere.  I think to myself every time, what the hell are they inhaling?  I didn't realize that you didn't have to be eighteen to purchase these.  I want to know why the FDA didn't step in when these things started hitting our shores and say, hold on a minute, we need to check these things out before millions of people start inhaling unknown chemicals into their lungs.  This to me is an outrage. How could they let minors buy these? They are even marketing different flavors, like buttered popcorn.  Buttered Popcorn electronic cigarettes?!  Man these people need to be stopped before they start putting nicotine into baby formula.
