William Lashua turned 90 with a lot of surprises from a lot of people that he does and doesn't know. The plans for his birthday party were posted online and to everyone surprise cards, cakes and gifts came pouring in from all over the world.

This is a great story. It makes me feel good that there are still good people in the world that even without knowing someone, put forth the effort to wish one of our veterans happy birthday. If you look at the pictures and the short videos, you can see that this old guy, isn't just a lonely grouchy old man, but totally the opposite. He seemed to be a fun loving personality that has endured through many obstacles in his life and the party that was thrown and out pouring of peoples best wishes, prove just that.
I can only hope to live a long and happy life, and most of all I hope that I don't end up a grouchy old lonely man.

That was super nice of people. There is still alot of wonderful people out there who do nice things for others. It's a good story to read with all the violance and hate.
